Checkers has a long extended pedigree going back to the orginal imports. His dam is registered as a dark brown & white spot but I had her here on my farm and I body clipped her and she is definately a black and white spot. Here is another photo of his dam, Raggedy Ann. Checkers is a very sweet boy...easy to catch and easy to handle. He has had several baths and haircuts and he is use to being around people, dogs, and other donkeys. He is very, very dark brown and white..some of his spots look black. He just had a bath in the photos above and he was still wet and cold and had a hump in his back. He really has a very smooth top line. He has been shown one time and won the weanling/yearling jacks at halter class and was 3rd in the color class. He is up to date on vaccinations, worming and hoof trims. We will deliver Checkers within a reasonable distance for a small extra fee.

Issac is a very laid back and gentle breeder who can be both pasture bred and hand bred. He reduces the size on his foals. Shane is a very tiny brown jack. He is correct, square, short-backed, and straight-legged with a gorgeous head. He is very perfectly balanced. He tracks perfectly in line at the walk and trot. His foal coat spots were brown but when we clipped him they turned so dark they look black but we are calling them very dark brown. Everyone of his spots is heavily lined with halos which is very desirable in spotted patterns and hard to find. He is just as friendly and sweet as his half brother. He was great for his bath, body clip, and photo session. He also has a dead on perfect bite. He is double registered in the Miniature Donkey Registry in Texas and the American Council of Spotted Asses Association...papers are pending.
