Grand Sire:  Dewey Meadows Primo, 32" Black/Brown/White Spot
Grand Dam:  MGF Venus Minuet 610, 32" Dark Brown/Gray

Checkers has a long extended pedigree going back to the orginal imports. His dam is registered as a dark brown & white spot but I had her here on my farm and I body clipped her and she is definately a black and white spot. Here is another photo of his dam, Raggedy Ann. Checkers is a very sweet boy...easy to catch and easy to handle. He has had several baths and haircuts and he is use to being around people, dogs, and other donkeys. He is very, very dark brown and white..some of his spots look black. He just had a bath in the photos above and he was still wet and cold and had a hump in his back. He really has a very smooth top line. He has been shown one time and won the weanling/yearling jacks at halter class and was 3rd in the color class. He is up to date on vaccinations, worming and hoof trims. We will deliver Checkers within a reasonable distance for a small extra fee.

Jingles's sire's pedigree has over 600 ancestors listed. Click hereto see it! Jingles is going to be a tiny jack when full grown. His foal coat spots were brown but when we clipped him they turned so dark they look black but we are calling them very dark brown. Everyone of his spots is heavily lined with halos which is very desirable in spotted patterns and hard to find. He is just as friendly and sweet as his half brother. He was great for his bath, body clip, and photo session. He also has a dead on perfect bite. He is double registered in the Miniature Donkey Registry in Texas and the American Council of Spotted Asses Association...papers are pending.

Dam: B.J. Black Beauty, 32¾" Black
     Grand Sire:Circle C Little Motown, 35" Black
Grand Dam:  B.J. Blizzard's Bunny, 35¾" Frosted Spotted White

Rowdy is jet black with no visible cross! He has a wonderful disposition and loves everyone. He can be pasture bred or hand bred and he is extremely easy to handle. These winter photos don't do him justice and you can see by the three 'summer coat' photos how gorgeous he really is. Rowdy has blacks and spotteds in his world class pedigree. He has two foal crops on the ground and his babies have his great looks and temperament. Rowdy would make a fantastic show donkey as he has a lot or presence while still being a joy to handle...a rare combination for a jack! The first day we walked him up to a 15" coon jump he sailed right over it..yet he hardly moved a muscle while we were photographing and clipping him.

HALF ASS ACRES HARLEQUIN JACK

Foaled 07-11-99 @ 7:30pm

Out of Half Ass Acres Christy 32½" very correct dark gray-dun jennet. Foal coat: Tri-colored Dark brown/white/gray spotted.  Not quite 22" 3 days old...he wouldn't be still so he may be smaller - I would rather guess high than low!  He is a full brother to Half Ass Acres Alanis Morrisette, National Grand Champion Spotted Jennet

Pat Scanlan our donkey tree expert:  Harley is the ninth generation of his family and 112 of his ancestors are listed in the donkey tree.  They go all the way back to the great Luigi!!
