Clover has a very impressive show record. She was the Grand National Spotted Jennet for two years in a row and won numerous other awards during her show career. She was shown by Kirk and Terri McDonald of KiTerra Farm in Jeffersonville, Ohio. We have been unable to get Clover to settle in foal for over a year now so we are offering her for sale as a barren jennet. She would make an absolutely gorgeous driving donkey and with her past very impressive show record she would make someone a wonderful show donkey. She would also be a good baby sitter for young foals or a great companion donkey for a jack or any other donkey that needs a buddy.

Shanay (American Indian for "beautiful eyes") was purchased for a future cross with our new and upcoming junior herd sire, Spec. I just could not resist Shanay as soon as I saw her. We have known her sire, Sampson, for several years and always admired his unique 'tyger' spot pattern and outstanding conformation. Sampson is an ACOSA Grand National Champion. Shanay is a full sister of Wee Ones Farm Geronomo. This little girl is about as sweet and laid-back as they come. She did not move a muscle for her haircut or photo session!

Bianca was shown at The 2003 Great Celebration Mule & Donkey Show in July against very tough competition. She placed 2nd in the NMDA Jennets to Halter 3 & Over class and placed 3rd at the ACOSA Nationals in Jennets to Halter 3 & Over Class the next day. This is the only time she has been shown. We have been unable to get Bianca to settle in foal. She does not appear to have any major problems and she has been flushed out by our vet but she still does not settle. For this reason we are offering her as a barren jennet. She would make an outstanding cart donkey. She is easy to handle and easy to catch in a small pasture. If she is in a big pasture and she sees you have a halter she sometimes is a little harder to catch. She is up to date on all vaccinations, worming, and hoof trimmings. She would also make a great companion for a horse or another donkey. She gets along with other donkeys and dogs. She would be a wonderful spotted show donkey!

Mocha will be seven years old this July. She has had one or two foals in the past but has been owned for several years by a family that only owned pets and so she was not bred. She has a nice long full pedigree with only four blank spots and filled with a lot of color including sorrels (reds), and browns. Her registration papers state her height at 33" but we measured her at 33½" on 3/29/05. She is a complete sweetheart....very gentle and good natured...easy to catch and handle. She has a dead on perfect bite. She has very correct conformation with a nice round rear and straight legs. She is up to date on vaccinations, hooves, and worming. She has a negative coggins report dated 4/08/2005. Mocha has been exposed to our 32½" Black and White Spotted Jack, MGF Primero, from April 3rd thru April 9th, 2005.

She is very friendly and loves attention. She is up to date on vaccinations, worming, etc. and she has a negative coggins report dated 1/07/05. Her registration papers have not been mailed in yet so you can change her name and even name her in your farm name if you would like! Her price will be discounted if you buy more than one donkey.

Black Magic Woman...aka BMW..aka Beamer foaled a precious tri-colored jack,
miniature donkeys KKR Raisin' Cain, on 4/24/2003.

And foaled another precious dark spotted jack,
Crossroads KKR Crossroads, on 8/24/04.

Beamer is bred to Sunset Acres Rowdy Yates, a 32" true black jack with no visible cross, for an October 2005 foal. Rowdy's last foal, miniature donkeysKKR Good As Gold, won Grand Champion Jack at the Tennessee State Fair as a weanling last year competing against all ages of jacks. A feat that is very rare! All of these foals were bred by K&K Ranch in Brownsboro, Texas.

This jennet is stocky and has the prettiest head and rear end on her that you could ever hope for and a personality to match her conformation. Just a real sweetheart...easy to catch and easy to handle. She has a good bite. She is up to date on vaccinations, etc. and she has a negative coggins report dated 11/23/2004. The photos above were taken of this jennet last year and they do not do her justice. She is so, so much prettier than this but it is cold as heck here now and I don't want to take any new photos unless you absolutely insist!! I love this jennet! I am selling her for a friend of mine that got her in trade with several donkeys and I would be buying her myself if I wasn't retired and now eternally broke! This is MY kind of jennet!!

This little red jennet has a pedigree to die for. She is small and dainty with a tiny little feminine head. Her dam was one of the prettiest babies I have ever seen. (Click here to see a head shot of her dam as a foal.) De-Lovely is a little shy but I already have her eating treats out of my hand. It won't take long to make a big pet out of her. It is very important to have bright sunshine when photographing sorrels and it was a very overcast day when these photos were taken. This little jennet is not quite as dark as her photos seem to reflect but she is definately red. She is up to date on vaccinations, worming, etc. and she has a negative coggins report dated 1/07/05. A granddaughter of National Champion George Jones and Pell’s Benny Boy. Famous has what it takes to excel. She is balanced and correct thru and thru. You can be proud to lead a jennet this well built into the show ring. And she should put some super correct foals on the ground with the right jack. If you’re trying to produce foals that are the “complete package” this jennet could get you to your goal a lot faster. She is up to date on vaccinations, worming, hooves, etc. and she has a negative coggins report dated 12/14/04.

Update! We have just learned that this donkey was exposed to a 32" black jack last August. She does appear to be in foal but she is not guaranteed. A breeding certificate will be given with her but a foal cannot be guaranteed because we do not own the jack that she was exposed too.

Update! This jennet has been vet checked on December 14th confirmed safe in foal!!!

Bell was born one day before my retirement from 34 years of service with BellSouth Telecommunications Company. We named Bell in honor of this long awaited day. This is Glorianna's fourth foal and her fourth jennet in a row! Bell is a full sister to Bedazzled who was purchased by Nissen's Lazy N Ranch in The 2004 Great American Donkey Sale in Ohio. Bell has a beautiful tiny head and she is very stocky and stout.

We later repurchased Ma Bell when J-Belle's Miniatures went out of business and kept her for many years. She was later resold to Australia where she went on to foal many beautiful foals.

Her call name is 'Sister' in honor of her full sister that was lost during birth last year. It was her mom, Gracie's, first foal and she went into early labor during a horrific hailstorm and the baby was not positioned for the correct delivery. Sister is just about the prettiest baby you will ever see and she already loves everyone. She is a rich deep brown with reddish undertones. Her head and ears are very red. Her eyelashes are dark brown at the base and reddish blonde on the tips. Whatever color she is .... she sure is special!

Charm's dam, My World Holly, was purchased over three years ago in partners with one of my very dearest friends, Mary Hubbard. Holly was in foal and Mary was to get Holly and I was to get the baby. Of course, we were hoping for a jennet. Holly foaled a nice little dark brown jack that year. Mary insisted that I keep Holly and try again. This time we bred her to our little jack, Pepper. Once again Holly foaled a dark brown jack..this one we named Chaps, My Ass! Mary talked me into trying one last time...this time no matter what the outcome I was sending her jennet home and this time we bred her to our spotted herd sire, Indy. Of course I was praying for a spotted jannet but we never dreamed that she would foal a dark 'no light points' jennet and we are thrilled. Thanks to Brasstown Brayers Farm for coming up with the perfect name for this little girl.

Update! We have kept Holly so long that we could not part with her..thank you to Mary Hubbard for finally giving in and selling Charm's mom to us!

      Grand Dam:  Gardner's Katherine H, 32¾" Brown

Cupid has a good bite and very correct conformation and one of the longest set of ears we have ever seen on a donkey! He is super friendly and easy to handle. He is already trained to lead very well and run beside you so he is ready to compete in the lead races now. He has a beautiful long strided trot and will make a fantastic driving donkey. This boy is a 'people' donkey. He will follow you anywhere!! He is a very level headed and intelligent donkey and will make someone an outstanding show gelding. You better grab him fast before I fall in love! Some of the above photos were taken after he was body clipped last year as a yearling. He now has his long winter sunburned coat but he will shed off or clip to look just like the photos above but even better. When he is clipped he is so dark that he almost looks black. He is up to date on vaccinations including West Nile and Rabies and he has a negative coggins report dated 6/17/04.

Although Rah is a gorgeous donkey he grew too tall for us to feel comfortable using him as a herd sire and he was gelded last year. Rah will be a great driving & performance prospect as he is very stout and very flashy and just a sweetheart to be around. If Rah is not sold soon we will start training him to drive and his price will be raised accordingly.

Inga's first foal and he is a doll. He is very stocky and heavy boned with a perfect bite!! We were surprised at how tiny he was after such a dramatic birth. Inga insisted on having him standing up and it took three of us to assist in pulling him out. He entered this world sucking his tongue and he still does! Inga is being a great first time mom...she really loves her baby! A big 'thank you' to Julia Vaughn for assisting us in the birth. We are not sure we could have gotten him out without her!

36+" Red/Brown Roan Gelding
DOB 3/15/99

Sire: Morgensen's Rockbridge Dale, 31" Dark Brown/White Spotted

     Grand Sire: Lazy A Pistachio-Rock, 32½" Brown/White Spotted
Grand Dam: Mogensen's Rockbridge Rhonda, 34½" Brown Roan

Dam:  Mogensen's Rockbridge Sharon, 33" Fully Frosted Spotted White
     Grand Sire:  Lazy A Pistachio-Rock, 32½" Brown/White Spotted
Grand Dam: Miniature Powder Puff, 34" White

Buddy was my first donkey gelding so I guess you could say he started my love affair with geldings although I have had gelding 'horses' all of my life. I wrote a poem about Buddy that says it all about how I feel about him. It was written when I had only known him for a few days. It doesn't really fit anymore as he is now a big sweet baby!

My Buddy & Me

Trying to catch him is a lesson in patience.
Leading him is akin to pulling a freight train. When you try to clean out his feet he does a great imitation of a bucking bronco that wrenches your back. He is Roman-nosed, knock-kneed, cow-hocked, and seedy-toed. He is too tall for a miniature and too short to ride. He limps when he walks and he hangs his Johnson out at the most inopportune times. I paid $80 for him and probably couldn't pay double that to have someone take him off my hands......and I love him.

His beautiful brown-roan color compliments my red hair. He has a perfect bite. He will stand quietly without any restraint and let me clip his head and ears. He never kicks or bites. He will let me talk him into anything if I keep telling him what a wonderful fellow he is. He trusts me. He likes me. I adore him!!! My Buddy and Me.
